John Robedeaux Obituary

Kaukauna, WI

Born October 23, 1944

On June 23rd you left us to make your journey through the heavens to your Savior, Jesus Christ. Meeting you on your journey is your mother, Magalene (Haupt), who died when you were 16; your father, Cyril Robedeaux, and your brother, Jim. Gathering around you are numerous extended family members, cousins, and friends.

You left your life here surrounded by family, well lived, and loved.

Born and raised in Kaukauna, John was educated at St. Mary’s and Kaukauna High School, and earned an Associate’s Degree in business from Fox Valley Tech. He proudly served his country for 4 years in the Air Force during the Vietnam War era. John was employed for over 40 years at Miller Electric in Appleton. He was instrumental in getting Miller Electric’s Christmas float ready for the Appleton Christmas Parade, making sure the children of the Make-A-Wish Foundation were on the float along with his grandchildren. For many years, John taught local students about Junior Achievement, including some of his grandchildren. He also cherished the memories of teaching his granddaughter and her friends how to fast pitch. He was so proud of his grandchildren. John had a love for traveling and adventure, especially trying local food was the best!

John is survived by his wife of 60 years, Judy; son, Jeff; daughter-in-law, Jess, of Kaukauna; grandson, Conner; bonus granddaughter through marriage, Maddie, of Kimberly; daughter, Tina; son-in-law, Reno; grandchildren: Nicholas, Haley, and Kyle Hermus, of Little Chute. John is further survived by his brother, Joe (Betty) Robedeaux, of Kaukauna; brother-in-law, Jim (Jean) Robinson, of Kimberly; and numerous nieces and nephews.

We will so miss your smile, your gentleness, your humor, your laugh, kindness, and especially buying your sweets and chocolate.

Enjoy John, Dad, Grandpa your new home. We know you are singing with the angels as you are playing baseball.
