John T. Hopfensperger

John Thomas Hopfensperger, Neenah, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2022 at the age of 65. He was born to James and Delores (Ouellette) Hopfensperger on October 4, 1956 in Kaukauna.

John was a skilled carpenter and worked at Eggers Industries in Neenah for over 35 years. He was an avid sports fan, cheering on his beloved Packers, Badgers and Brewers at every chance. John loved racing and had a special appreciation for the drag races held at his hometown track, Wisconsin International Raceway.

John is survived by his daughter Amy, son Eric (Abby) and grandsons Ruxin and Rennin, siblings:  Pat (Cindy), Nancy (Don) Rademacher, Mary, Tom (Deb), Paul, Jim (Sherry) and David (Natalie); numerous nieces, nephews and former wife, Lynn.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Robert and niece Anna.

A celebration of John’s life will be held from 11:00 am – 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 1 at Verkuilen-Van Deurzen Family Funeral Home, 2401 Fieldcrest Dr, Kaukauna. For online condolences please visit www.verkuilenfh.com.
