Johanna (Fischer) Eppinger

Johanna Eppinger, 85, passed away at home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, September 27, 2022.  Johanna was born on October 13, 1936 in Passau, Germany to Johann Franz and Anna (Prost) Fischer.  She met her future husband while he served in the Army in Germany.  On June 27, 1960 she was united in marriage to Richard Eppinger at St. Mary Catholic Church.  They lived their entire married lives in Kaukauna.  Johanna was well known in the area for creating beautiful custom draperies for over 40 years. Above all, she treasured her time spent with family, especially her grandchildren.

Johanna is survived by her children; Chris (Greg) Thomas, Montana and their children, Sierra, Riley and Gage and Michelle Yao, Kaukauna and her children, Benjamin, Chance, Trevor and Spencer; a brother, Dieter (Jutta Raab) Fischer of Passau, Germany; 4 brothers and sisters-in-law: Norman (Ruth), Appleton, Jerome (Fumiko), Leon and Dennis (Angie), all of Kaukauna.  Johanna was preceded in death by her husband Richard Eppinger; parents Johann and Anna Fischer; siblings: Christa Horvath, Edith Wasser, Anita Rauecker, and Gerlinde Fischer.

The memorial service for Johanna will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 119 W.
