Jerry King

Jerry K. King, 74, passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2022.  Jerry was born on October 25, 1947, to Thomas and Betty (Riedinger) King.  He was a veteran having served in the US Army during Vietnam.  He worked for the city of Appleton as a city engineer until his retirement.  After he retired he moved up north to Pickerel where he enjoyed fishing and hunting.  Jerry also enjoyed woodworking. 

He is survived by his sister Jenny VerVoort, a sister-in-law Vickee King, nephews; Kevin (Amy) VerVoort, Kris (Stephaine) VerVoort, nieces; Shellee Jackels and Becky King, other relatives and friends.

A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, May 20, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Verkuilen Van Deurzen Family Funeral Home, 2401 Fieldcrest Dr., Kaukauna.  Military honors will be presented at 5:00 p.m.  The family would like to thank Compass Hospice for their help in this difficult time.  For online condolences please visit www.verkuilenfh.com.
