Jericho Louise “Jeri” Feistel, age 45, passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 in Appleton, WI, with her family by her side. Born on March 18, 1979, in Appleton, Jeri was a beacon of joy and resilience, deeply cherished by all who knew her.
Jeri was a graduate of East High School in Appleton. After graduation, she spent many fulfilling years at Valley Packaging before her retirement in 2020.
Jeri lived her life embracing simple pleasures, which included spending quality time with her family and beloved service dog, Raven. She loved to be outdoors and was often found taking leisurely walks around her neighborhood. She was also an avid shopper. Jeri’s presence was a source of comfort and joy, teaching those around her the values of patience, acceptance, determination, and gratitude for the small joys in life.
She leaves behind her mother and step-father: Chris and Don Wynkoop, Menasha; father and step-mother: Dick and Carol Feistel, Kaukauna; step-siblings: Jessica (Matt) Thurke, Neenah, Eric Digman, Greenville, Waldon Wynkoop, Menasha, and Mikkel Wynkoop, Menasha; grandmother, Carol Ruechel; nieces and nephews: Reese, Paige, and Brock Thurke and Mason Digman; aunts and uncles: Connie Duchow, John (Betty) Feistel and family, Ron (Sally) Feistel and family, Jan (Dana) Rauen and family, Connie (Mike) Bellin and family, Patti DuFrane and family, and Keith (Colleen) Mustain and family; and cousins: Marcus and Lucas Duchow. She is further survived by numerous extended family members and friends. Jeri was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Jerald Ruechel and her paternal grandparents: Mary and George Feistel.
A Funeral Service for Jeri will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Luke Evangelical Lutheran Church, 705 E. Greenfield Dr., Little Chute. Visitation will begin at church at 9:00 a.m. and will continue until the time of the service. Jeri will be laid to rest in Highland Memorial Park in Appleton.
