Jay J. Frassetto, age 62, of Appleton, passed away unexpectedly on January 27, 2026. He was born on July 21, 1963, son of the late Joseph and Virginia (Krueger) Frassetto. Jay married Carleen Biesterveld on August 25, 2012.
Jay was a mechanic through and through, and he spent his entire working career doing what he knew best-fixing things and working hard. For 24 years, Jay owned and operated Tim and Jay’s in Little Chute alongside his best friend, Tim. He took real pride in that shop and often said he had the best customers anyone could ask for, something he never took for granted.
Jay had a deep love for old classic cars and was especially proud of his drag truck. He and Carleen enjoyed going for rides in his corvette. Many of his nights were spent at WIR, where racing was a way of life. When his kids were racing dirt bikes, Jay was right there with them, following them from track to track and supporting them every step of the way.
Outside of the garage and racetrack, Jay enjoyed hunting and spending time with his family and dog Daisy. Above all, he cherished time with his grandson, who brought him immense pride and joy.
Jay will be remembered as a dedicated mechanic, a loyal friend, a devoted family man, and someone who believed in earning his way through hard work and showing up for the people he cared about.
Jay is survived by his wife, Carleen; son, Jesse; grandson, Styles; stepsons: Peyton and Garret; siblings: Lori (Rick) Otto, Gary (Jill) Frassetto and Julie Frasetto; in-laws: Pauline (Randy) Wetmore, Pat (Terry) Fellner, Linda (Doug) Hines, Cindy (Dave) Demming and Jeff (Tracey) Bellile; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Jay was preceded in death by his beloved children: Kristi Frassetto and Travis Frassetto; daughter-in-law, Emily Frassetto; parents, Joseph and Virginia Frassetto; brother, Steve Frassetto; Carleen’s parents, Carl and Doris Bellile.
