Janet G. (Lamb) Reed

Janet G. Reed, 74, of Freedom WI, passed away on Sunday February 15, 2026 with her family by her side.

   Janet was born September 13, 1951 to Vernon and Colette (Kern) Lamb of Hortonville WI.  She was united in marriage to Robert A. Reed in the spring of 1978. Together they started OK Resource, a metals recycling business, in 1986. Janet continued with OK Resource after Robert's death in 2009.

   Janet enjoyed working at her business and all the friends she made during her work. She loved spending time with family and friends, taking care of her many cats, gardening and taking care of her house plants, baking, football, rummaging and thrifting, disc golf, and collecting curiosities. She always had a kind word and love to share with everyone and frequently had some new item to share.

   Janet is survived by her children: Angel Morack-Stowe, John Reed, Daniel Reed, Timothy Reed, and Matthew Reed; grandchildren: Zachary Morack and Seraphina Stowe; siblings Sharon Olson (Jeff), and Greg (Roberta) Lamb; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Janet was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Colette Lamb, her husband Robert A. Reed, and an infant son, Daniel Darwin Reed.

We will miss the generosity and love she shared with us all.
