Jim Sanderfoot of Kaukauna, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on January 14, 2026, at the age of 85. He was born on November 15, 1940, in Little Chute, the son of John and Marie (Sanders) Sanderfoot. He married Barbara Bootz on May 1, 1965, and shared 60 years raising Susan, Jane, and the late John.
Jim battled several different health issues over the last year. He faced them all with courage and positivity, with the goal of watching his grandson play his senior year of baseball and watching him graduate. Although he will not be there in person, he will definitely be there in spirit.
Jim was a loving father and enjoyed spending weekends with his family and friends at the cottage, enjoying the lake.
Jim is survived by his wife Barb, and two daughters, Susan, and foster grandson Coltin Polifka, and Jane (Garry) Gates, grandson, Carson. He is further survived by in-laws, Jeanne Bootz, Mary Law, Pete (Cathy) Bootz, aunts, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
Jim is now at peace with his son John, his parents, John and Marie Sanderfoot, brother Don and Grace Sanderfoot, and his parents-in-law, Bud and Kate Bootz, and his brother-in-law, Bob Bootz.
