James "Mike" Reardon

Kaukauna – James M. “Mike” Reardon, age 79, passed away at his home on December 12, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 25, 1944, son of the late Edward and Della (Coleman) Reardon. Mike married Jackie Lewandowski on March 3, 1962.

Mike was a salesman in the electrical wholesale industry, mainly with Langstadt Electric Supply. He was an avid sports fan, following high school sports, the Wisconsin Badgers and especially the Green Bay Packers. He enjoyed the many years that he coached boys basketball at Holy Cross. Mike was an active member of the Holy Cross Athletic Association and helped with the Men's Open Tournament. He was a member of the Kaukauna Lions Club, including serving as President.  He was a lifelong member of Holy Cross Catholic Church.

Mike enjoyed traveling and family vacations spent at Roberts Lake. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. One of Mike and Jackie’s favorite things to do was enjoying breakfast together at Mama D’s.

Mike is survived by his wife of 61 years, Jackie Reardon; children: Sue (Brian) Weiland, Colleen (Randy) Hansen, Michelle (Bill) Brandt, Erin (Brian) Schell and Ryan (Kim) Reardon; grandchildren: Abby (Nick) Jacobs, Lyndsey Weigman, Lauren Weigman, Cailin (Curtis)  Peck, Eric (special friend, Sarah) Hansen, Matt and Kaira Brandt, Morgan (Logan) Dorow, Riley (special friend, Chloe) Schell, Thomas Stenstrom, Aiden and Haley Reardon; great grandchildren: Cole, Avery, Zane, Wren, Lennon and Scarlett; his best friend and companion McGee, in-laws: Bonnie Fisch(special friend, Bill Leondard), Mert and Jerrold Heindel, Peg DeCoster, Scott Lewandowski, Deb Brill and Jane Lewandowski; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Della Reardon; granddaughters: Tessa Hansen and Noel Brandt; brothers: John (Mary)Reardon and Bill (Merna) Reardon; father and mother-in-law, Joe and Frieda Lewandowski; as well as other brothers and sisters-in-law; Joan and Dick  McCarty, Joe and Joan Lewandowski, Sue and Tom Niesen and Danny Lewandowski.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 309 Desnoyer Street, Kaukauna. Visitation will be at the church on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the Mass. The Mass will be live streamed on the Verkuilen-Van Deurzen Family Funeral Home Facebook Page.
