James Hooyman Obituary
Sun Lakes, AZ – James H. “Jim” Hooyman, age 78, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 11, 2021. He was born on November 18, 1942, son of the late Herbert and Marian (Krause) Hooyman.
Jim is survived by his wife, Rose (Pieters) Hooyman; children: Christine (Robert) Hau, Jeff (Julie) Hooyman and Jennifer (Chad) Bellin; 14 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; brothers: Tom, Dennis, David, Gary and Rick Hooyman; sister, Deb Valentine; numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews and many friends.
Jim was preceded in death by a daughter, Becca; a son, Joseph; his parents; and a great grandson, Asher.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, W2037 County Road S, Freedom. Visitation will be at the church from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Marquette University School of Engineering would be appreciated.
