Howard "Bob" Larson Obituary

Bob Larson, born August 3, 1932 died on October 8, 2021. Howard Robert Larson Jr., son of Howard Sr. and Alma (Klabunde) Larson. Bob was born and raised in Neenah, WI. Bob graduated from Neenah High school in 1950. He spent 2 years in the US Army as a Military Police Officer, 16 months of those stationed in Korea. He was discharged as Staff Sgt, earning a bronze star among other medals. Upon his return from Korea, he worked at Neenah Paper Company for 35 years.

Bob married Marion Eake in May of 1955. Together with their 3 children, they enjoyed many camping trips all over WI. In their later years, Bob and Marion enjoyed many sightseeing trips all over WI, MI and MN, especially Trempealeau, WI and Duluth, MN.

Bob had numerous hobbies, including Amateur Radio Operator, boating, model airplanes, model railroading, birding, photography and was an avid genealogist.

Bob is survived by his wife of 24, 246 days,  his 3 children, Tina(John) Prast, Lori(Duane) Sargent, Larry(Judy) Larson, 4 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 2 special “rugrats” and many dear friends.

A time of visitation will be held on Thursday, October 14, 2021 from 4:00 until 6:00 PM at the VERKUILEN VAN DEURZEN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 2401 Fieldcrest Dr., Kaukauna.  Bob will be interred at Central WI Veterans Memorial Cemetery in King WI.
