Henry C. Coonen, age 63, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, July 1, 2025. He was born on March 28, 1962 in Kaukauna to Arnold and Jeanette (Rusch) Coonen.
Henry spent most of his years working on his family farm, the Coonen Grain Service. Henry met his wife Lynn just after he returned from his service in the U.S. Army, while working together at a furniture store in Kaukauna. They were engaged and married within 2 years, and shortly after started their family and many adventures together.
Henry enjoyed their home up north which, they just recently rebuilt in 2020 to enjoy during retirement. Henry loved spending time fishing, hunting, four wheeling with the geezers and his grandchildren, golfing with family or his golf league buddies, playing sheepshead at the Walleye Lodge, gathering with friends, and going to the beach with his grandchildren. Henry and Lynn enjoyed many road trips together, and enjoyed seeing the fall leaves over their anniversary each year. Henry could often be found volunteering to help friends or neighbors, listening to the Brewers around the fire, and watching the Packers. Most recently he enjoyed working side by side with his friend Steve doing side jobs, and helping with the Lions Club and local EMS. Henry had a big heart and was always thinking of others first. He will be greatly missed by everyone he knew.
