Gregory Scott Riemer, 62, passed away on April 16, 2026, in Wisconsin. Greg was born on April 3, 1964, in Texas to Donald and Dolores Riemer. Over the years, Greg called many places home, including Florida, Colorado, and Wisconsin, but for him, home was always wherever family was. That sense of home also reached Alabama, Texas, and Kansas through the people he loved.
During his life, Greg was a patriot who loved golf, his favorite pastime, and was a devoted Green Bay Packers fan. He enjoyed barbecuing, hosting bonfires, loved dogs, and found great joy in the simple moments spent with family. Some of his happiest times were those shared with the people he loved most.
Greg is survived by his children: Crystal (Matt) Soderman, Celia (Jimmy Chinen) Riemer, Josh (Mandy) Bohlen, and Jennifer (Cody) Henson; his grandchildren: Katie Schmitt, Eli Henson, Jaxon Bohlen, Aria Henson, and Evelyn Soderman; his brothers: Mike Riemer and David (Trish) Riemer; his sister, Kim (Dan) Redding; his love Edie Riemer, with whom he shared many years and a lasting bond; nephews: Kyle Redding, Carl Riemer; nieces: Heidi Goolsby, P.J. Riemer, Kirstyn Redding, and Debbie Riemer; his best friend of 35 years, Larry Rayment. Greg was preceded in death by his parents and his sister-in-law, Sue Riemer.
Greg will be remembered for the love he gave, the memories he created, and the way he made the people he loved feel at home. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.
