Gina A. Johnson

Gina A. Johnson, of Hollandtown, age 65, died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Friday, March 5, 2021.  She was born on July 28, 1955 to the late Richard and Nancy Reese.

Gina had a heart of gold and loved her family wholeheartedly.  On hot summer days you could always find her laying out in the sun or planting flowers.  She was very proud of her beautiful yard!  Christmas was her favorite time of year – going all out with decorating the inside and outside of her house and watching endless Hallmark movies.  She loved spoiling everyone, especially her grandogs, Winnie & Floki!  Gina was an excellent cook and always made sure she had everyone’s favorites!

Gina will be sadly missed by her husband, Gary, Hollandtown; daughter, Maria (Ed) VanderBloomen, Hollandtown; stepson, Paul (Sara) Johnson, Neenah; stepdaughter, Tammy (John) Eldridge, Sallisaw, OK.  Four grandchildren: Stevie VanderBloomen, Tayla (special friend, King) and Leah Johnson and Andie Kilsdonk; two great-grandchildren, Nova and Khalil.  Two brothers, Rick (Michelle) Reese, Las Vegas, NV and Tim (Barb) Reese, Menasha; three sisters, Mary Ford, Oshkosh, Kelly Reese, Green Bay, Kathleen (Richard) Young, Cape Coral, FL and brother-in-law, Fred Roden, along with many nieces, nephews and friends, including a very special friend, Mary Wenzel. 

In addition to her parents, Gina was preceded in death by her son, Bradley and sisters Linda Reese and Pamela Reese Roden.

Memorial services will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at the Verkuilen-Van Deurzen Family Funeral Home Kaukauna Location, 2401 Fieldcrest Drive.  Friends may call at the funeral home from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service.
