Gian F. Paterimos

Gian (Papa) Francis Paterimos, age 74, passed away unexpectedly on August 28, 2024. He was born on October 30, 1949, son of the late Joan (William) Dixon and Thomas R. Paterimos. He married Denise M. Paterimos (Baumler) on April 21, 1984. 

Gian was the true definition of a patriarch. He truly enjoyed spending his time with family. Gian and Denise enjoyed 41 years of marital bliss. Gian is survived by his children: Nicole (Tim) Tiedt, Jonathan Reams, Jaimee Paterimos, and Thomas (Shannon) Paterimos Sr; grandchildren: Jaidyn (21), Colton (21), Calissa (18), Adrianna (16), Cashtin (15), Bentlee (13), Thomas Jr. (8), Theodore (5), and Dominic (2); numerous siblings, nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Gian was preceded in death by: Joan (William) Dixon, Woodrow (JoMarie) Gilpin, Vicky Paterimos, and Barbara Ann (Nick) Gulli. 

Gian was a John of all trades. He was the kind of man that would do anything for anybody. He was an amazing papa to his 9 grandchildren, husband, father, brother, son, and friend. He shared many memories about caring for his baby sister JoMarie and the memories they shared. This began his journey to his lifelong career of taking care of those he loved. 

Gian’s family will be hosting a Celebration of Life on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at Memorial Park, 405 Wallace Street, Combined Locks at 1:00 PM.
