Gerald "Jerry" E. Griesbach

Gerald “Jerry” E. Griesbach, 82 passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at home.  Jerry was born on October 1, 1941 to Peter and Mary (Sanderfoot) Griesbach.  He was a veteran having served in the US Navy aboard the USS Bushnell.  On June 13, 1964 he was united in marriage to Maria Ramirez. Jerry worked hard all his life and he and Maria fulfilled their dream of starting their own machine shop in Kaukauna named G & G Machine.  Jerry had many passions with some of his favorites being snowmobiling, and motorcycling with friends and making maple syrup with the grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 60 years, Maria, four children; Debbie Griesbach, Nancy (Mark) Stumpf, Randy (Isabelle) Griesbach, and Sandy (Robby) VanHandel, grandchildren; Rachel Greiner, Melissa (Eric) Fischer, Desiree (Bryan) Sochacki, Bo (Ellen) Stumpf, Mason (Danah) Stumpf, Alayna (Jake) Verhagen, Lydia Stumpf, Josh (Nikki) Griesbach, Cayden (Charlane) Griesbach, Teaka (Nate) Pozolinski, Ilianah, Mia, Christiano, Amaiah, and Mailynn Griesbach, Parker (Abby) VanHandel, Kyle VanHandel, and Vanessa VanHandel, 14 great grandchildren and 3 on the way, his sister LaVerne Stein, Maria’s family, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and 11 of his siblings.

The funeral mass for Jerry will be held on Monday, July 1, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at St Katherine Drexel, St Mary Church, 119 W. 7th St., Kaukauna.  A time of visitation will be held on Sunday, June 30, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Verkuilen Van Deurzen Family Funeral Home, 2401 Fieldcrest Dr., Kaukauna and on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass at church.  For online condolences please visit www.verkuilenfh.com.  The family would like to thank Angie and Ida from Theda Care Hospice, and his special caregivers; Alicia, Noemi, Maddie and Jada.
