Gary F. Neuens

July 4, 1942 ~ April 26, 2022 (age 79)


Gary F. Neuens, age 79, passed away on April 26, 2022. He was born on July 4, 1942, son of the late Peter and Maxine (Bourassa) Neuens. He married Roxanne E. Michels on April 16, 1987.

Gary was employed with CCX for many years and retired in 2001. He served in the Army as a Sergeant during the Vietnam War from 1968-1969. He was a proud veteran and a lifetime member of the Kaukauna VFW. Gary loved a good game of cards, visits to the Casino and visiting his siblings. His favorite thing to do was spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Gary is survived by his wife, Roxanne; daughter, Robin (Brian) Sanders, Little Chute; sons: Matt (BethAnne) Neuens, Galena, OH; Andy Neuens, Johnstown, OH; stepsons: John Martin, Fort Magu, CA; Robert (Stephanie Sarantopoulos) Martin, Orono, MN; grandchildren: Josh (Melissa) Young, Breanna (Geoff) Schmitz, Caleb and Dylan Neuens, Quinn Neuens, Adrian Martin, Elizabeth Martin; Stevie, Teddy and Bobby Martin; sisters: Barb Hackel and Phyllis Vander Pas; brother, Randy (Linda) Neuens; in-laws: Mark (Josine) Michels and Mary Kay (Peter) Skubal; several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Michael; sister, Dawn Lambrecht; brothers-in-law: John Hackel Sr., and Eugene Vander Pas ; special niece, Lana Granger; father and mother-in-law, Robert and Loraine Michels; brother-in-law, Robert C. Michels; and beloved fur baby, Sassy.

A celebration of life for Gary will be held on July 16, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. at the Memorial Park Pavilion, 405 Wallace Street, Combined Locks. *Memorials may be made to the Fox Valley Humane Association on N115.  2 Mile Road; Appleton, WI 54914 in Gary's name.
