Florence "Ginny" (Huss) Recla

Florence (Ginny) Recla, Kaukauna, age 79, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 27, 2021. She was born on May 17, 1942 to Jack and Florence (Zietler) Huss in Suring, WI. 

Ginny worked for many years at WKAU radio station in Kaukauna in sales and office management. Following that she worked at the Kaukauna Credit Union where she always had a warm smile and offered a friendly welcome to her customers and coworkers. During retirement, Ginny spent many years working for Home Instead Senior Care which she adored.  In her free time, Ginny enjoyed gardening, reading, baking and spending time with friends, family and her beloved dog Freddie. She also spent many days a week at the YMCA staying active.

Ginny is survived by her children; Juli (Jim Tease) Hartzheim, and Steven (Katie) Hartzheim; six grandchildren: Savannah Hoffman, Sydney Hoffman, Alaina Hartzheim, Natalie Hartzheim, Meredith Hartzheim and Charles (CJ) Hartzheim.  She is further survived by her sisters; Sr. Helen Huss and Mary (Paul) Schuh, a special friend Skip VanderHeyden, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Ginny is preceded in death by her husband Bob Recla, her parents, and sisters; Franny (Dave) Kilgas and Barb Mischler. 

A memorial service for Ginny will be held on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at 4:00 PM at the VERKUILEN VAN DEURZEN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 2401 Fieldcrest Dr.  A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2:00 PM until the time of the service at the funeral home.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.verkuilenfh.com. 

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the Fox Valley Humane Society. 

Ginny’s loving smile will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
