Faith Sanderfoot

 Faith C. Sanderfoot, age 83, passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family on June 21, 2022. She was born on March 7, 1939, daughter of the late Alfred and Vera (Ganzen) Lom. She was a graduate of Kimberly High School and on October 3, 1959, she married Ron Sanderfoot.

Faith worked at Industrial Insulation as a bookkeeper and later worked at Holy Name Parish, which became Holy Spirit Parish also as a bookkeeper. She was involved with Care Ministry, prayer meetings, Cursillo, Bible studies and Welcome Weekends. Faith and Ron were also associates of the Sisters of St. Francis of the Holy Cross.

Christmas was Faith’s favorite holiday and she always did a lot of baking and decorating. She enjoyed traveling with their friends, the Paques, various bus trips, walking, playing a good card game and visiting the sick and elderly. Faith’s ministry to the sick and dying was extremely important to her.

Faith is survived by her husband of 62 years, Ron Sanderfoot; children: Steve (Beth) Sanderfoot, Lori (Deacon Tom) Gritton, Jeff (Chris) Sanderfoot and Betsy (Jamie) Haase; grandchildren: Will Sanderfoot, Mary Beth Sanderfoot, Melissa (fiancé, Cassie Wing) Gritton, Thomas Jr. (Mary) Gritton, AJ (special friend, Katelyn Greely) Sanderfoot, Maddie (fiancé, Samuel Staehling) Sanderfoot, Jason (special friend, Paige Faucher) Sanderfoot, Michael Sanderfoot, Tyler Haase and Brooke Haase; great grandchild, TJ Gritton III; siblings: Luella Saurbeir, Kathy (Mike) Palm and Butch (Donna) Lom; in-laws: Gary (Marilyn) Sanderfoot, Shirley (Mike) Otto and Cyndi (Kim) Jansen; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Faith was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Marcus Sanderfoot; brother, Bob Lom; father and mother-in-law, Clarence and Josephine Sanderfoot; brothers and sisters-in-law: Jim Eslinger, Dianna (Jerry) Schroeder and Donna (Jon) Vollmer.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Verkuilen-Van Deurzen Family Funeral Home LITTLE CHUTE location, 101 Canal Street. A vigil service will conclude the evening at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Friday, June 24, 2022, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, 411 Vandenbroek Street, Little Chute, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass at 11:00 a.m. Fr.
