Evelyn "Evie" Frederickson Obituary

Evelyn “Evie” Frederickson, 82 of Kaukauna, WI passed away peacefully on January 11, 2022.  She was born January 5, 1940 in Wrightstown, WI.

Evie graduated from Wrightstown High School in 1958.  She married David Jacobs in Wrightstown and together they owned and operated a family farm until 1980.   She later went to FVTC where she earned her degree in Agriculture.  Evie then went on to manage Outagamie Co-op in Freedom as the first female to manage a fertilizer plant in the state of WI.

In 1990, Evie married Richard Frederickson in Darboy, WI.  After retirement Evie went on to waitress at Mohnen’s in Darboy to do what she loved, which was being around people.  Evie’s greatest loves were her family and her grandchildren. Evie enjoyed family camping, Nascar races, Packer and Brewer games, playing cards, watching the grand children in their school activities, gardening, cooking and ice cream.  Any person that knew Evie could tell you that she wore her heart on her sleeve and could make anyone smile.  She was always known for throwing a great party and being around her family and friends.

Through her busy life Evie still found time to volunteer.  This began when her children needed a physical education teacher in grade school at St. Francis in Hollandtown.  She especially enjoyed volunteering her time and talent to the church throughout her life.

She is survived by her husband Richard Frederickson, her children Bruce (Della Prahl) Jacobs, Brian (Carol) Jacobs, Joan (Tom) Hord, Nick (Abby) Jacobs, Denise (Jerry) Verbruggen. Her stepchildren Gene (Joyce) Frederickson, Patty (Dan) Ebben, Al (Karen) Frederickson, Kurt (Heidi) Frederickson.
