Duane John Griesbach

Duane John Griesbach, age 62 of Appleton, WI went to be with the Lord on June 17, 2021  after battling complications due to cancer.  Duane was born on August 24, 1958 to Evelyn and the late Orville Griesbach. On June 2, 1979, he was united in marriage to Lauren Behle.  Duane was a loving husband and father with a passion for cycling.  He enjoyed playing with his grandkids, fishing and washing and waxing his cars and lawn mower.  He also enjoyed working at Pierce Manufacturing for 35 years until he retired April 1, 2020.  Duane was a happy, energetic and kind person and will be remembered for his positive attitude and making friends everywhere he went.  Duane will be sadly missed by his wife Lauren and four daughters, Julie Griesbach (Chris Bobowicz), Jodie (Hans) Huebner, Lisa (David) Breger, and Michelle (Colton) Eggen and his 8 grandchildren, Kyle, Lynn, Ryan Bobowicz, Pita and Heidi Breger, Aiden, Logan and Madeline Eggen.  He is also survived by his mother Evelyn and siblings, Brianna (Linda) Griesbach and Loren Griesbach and sister and brother in-laws, Roger Behle, Kevin (friend Brenda) Behle, James (Joan) Behle, Donna Behle and Paul (Sheila) Behle, as well as nephews, Dan, Tyler and Jason Behle and niece Karin (Jozef) Schmitt.

He was preceded in death by his father Orville, in-laws Robert & Melda Behle and great nephew Ryker Schmitt.

The funeral service for Duane will be held Tuesday June 22nd at 5:00 p.m. at St. Peter Lutheran Church, N2740 French Road, Appleton WI 54913.
