Duane D. Feustel, 67, passed away on Monday, April 29, 2024 at home. Duane was born on August 27, 1956 to David and Betty (Ory) Feustel in Oshkosh. On January 27, 1985 he was united in marriage to Sheila Owen. Duane was self employed as a recycler and did so with a passion. He also enjoyed playing cribbage and fishing. Duane roasted his own coffee and was always growing things in his garden and with hydroponics. He never met a stranger and loved to talk, he would make a long story “short” and loved the time he spent with you. Duane liked his beagles and was a member of Apostolic Truth Church where he loved to go when he could.
Duane is survived by his wife Sheila, four boys; Adam (Angel) Feustel, Aaron (Kelly) Feustel, Andrew (Ashly) Feustel and Alex (Jennifer) Feustel, and two daughters; Dana Feustel and Sara (Nathan) White, grandchildren; Kayla, Traivin, Trenton, Cyrena, Isabella, Mackenzie, Harrison, Savannah, Elijah, Malachi, and Naomi, his mom Betty Feustel, sisters; Diane (Paul) Renier, and Gail (Earl) Gessner, mother-in-law Luella Owen and a brother-in-law Kevin Owen, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Duane was preceded in death by his dad David, his father-in-law Austin Owen, a step daughter Krissy, and a brother-in-law Dennis Owen.
A memorial service will be held at the Apostolic Truth Church, 2720 Kesting Ct., Appleton on Friday June 7, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. A time of visitation will be held on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.
