Douglas "Doug" D. Verhagen

Douglas “Doug” Verhagen, 71, was taken home to Heaven on Friday, June 27, 2025.  Doug was born on September 1, 1953 to Walter and Delephine (Lom) Verhagen.  Doug lived at Brewster Village for the last 15 years and was very active there.  He was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church. 

Doug is survived by his brothers; James (Myra) Verhagen, Eugene (Sandy) Verhagen; brother-in-law Carl Fiestedt, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Doug was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings; June (Marcellus) Van Gompel, Grace Fiestedt, Walter (Fran) Verhagen Jr.

The funeral mass for Doug will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, 411 Vandenbroek St., Little Chute.  A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.  For online condolences please visit www.verkuilenfh.com.  The family would like to thank Compassus Hospice, Brewster Village and his social worker Jen for everything they have done throughout the years.
