Dorothy Annette (McGowan) Behling

Dorothy "Dot" Behling, age 79, of Kimberly, passed away on October 31, 2023. She was born May 31, 1944 in Marinette, WI daughter of the late Robert and Helen (Sartorius) McGowan. Dorothy married Dan Behling on July 30, 1970. She prided herself on gardening and her plants. She enjoyed watching QVC, doing puzzles with Kay, watching Goldrush, and her Friday dinners with her grandson Ben, as well as collecting figurines.

She is survived by her daughters: Kristine (Rob) Brownson, Sarah Behling; step daughter Lori Ware; sister Roberta (Paul) Tiseling, brother-in-law Jerome "Bucky" Behling; grandchildren: Amber (Josh) Peterson, Emily (Mike) Miller, Ben Jewson, Katie Ware, Josh and Shane Rasmussen; great grandchildren: Brielle, Tayvah, Croix, Anthony, and Johanna, niece Kathy Tiseling; and nephew Mark (Heather) Tiseling; grand niece, Autumn, grand nephews: Brandon and Noah; special friend Kay from Dimensions.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dan Behling; her mother and father, Helen and Robert; Son, Keith Ellenbecker; great grandson, Ayden Peterson.

In accordance with Dot’s wishes, private family services will be held.
