Donna M Allen, beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend, known for her love of family, sadly passed away peacefully after a short illness on Wednesday May 14, 2025 at her home in Little Chute surrounded by her family. She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her, offering support, wisdom and love in abundance.
Donna was born on July 31, 1949 in Appleton to the late Donald and Loraine (Verhoven) Knaack Sr. She married Bill Allen Jr. (Chilly) on December 27, 1967. They enjoyed almost 49 years together before his passing in 2016.
Donna’s greatest joys in life were her family and friends. There was not an event that she didn’t enjoy attending. A lifelong resident of the area she worked at numerous area businesses, most recently retiring from BLC Bank in Little Chute, she seemed to know someone everywhere she went. Donna grew up in Appleton, spending her summers since she was a teenager at the family trailer on Loon Lake in Shawano, eventually purchasing that trailer with Bill. That was their little slice of Heaven. Her friendly smile and the way she made anyone she met feel special will be remembered forever. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her, but we know she is now in a better place with Dad, probably out to eat and catching up on the last 9 years they have been apart.
Donna is survived by her Children: Kelly Peer (Brian); Cory Allen (Pauline); Barry Allen (Laura); Joseph Allen (Mandy)
Grandchildren: Katie Kuna (Chris); Jake Hammen (Mikayla Cisna); Monica Hammen (Scott Haberland); Emily Hansen (Caleb); Ben Peer (Chloe Edinger); Justin Allen (Mariah); Grady Allen (Kierra); Abby Allen; Maddie Allen (Jared Corrigan); Nathan Allen; Jack Allen; Marley Allen; Savanna Bumpus; Dakota Smith
Great Grandchildren: CJ & Braxton Kuna; Mason & Hayden Hammen; Isla & Cole Hansen; Saylor, Freya & Willow Allen
Siblings: Penny Bartman (Fred); Jack Knaack (Ann); Donald Knaack Jr (Loralie); Brother-in-Law David Allen (Wanda); Special Family members in law John and Janis Allen along with many nieces, nephews and friends that were all special to her.
Donna was preceded in death by her Husband Bill and her parents: Donald Sr. and Loraine.

The family would like to extend our thanks to the caring staff at Edenbrook of Appleton for their compassionate care of our Mom over the past few weeks; to Unity Hospice which made this transition so easy and True Way Transport for going the extra mile to complete a promise made to Mom - to get her back home to her family.
Come to me in my dreams and I will look for you in the stars. Mom, your legacy of the love of family will live on for eternity - We love you to the Moon and Back and will miss you forever.
