Donald A. Shaw

Donald A. Shaw, age 90, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, July 19, 2025. He was born on January 19, 1935 to the late Arthur and June Shaw.

After graduating from Fond du Lac High School, Don enlisted and served in both the Army and Air Force for over 12 years. Don had a knack for business and throughout his career he owned and operated an antique shop in Fond du Lac and he also was an auctioneer. He had a career in real estate in both Wisconsin and California.

In 1999, Don married Judy Turkow and they shared many years of love and happiness. At the age of 82, his creativity led him to a hobby of many hours in acrylic painting. Most recently, Don took on the role as a stand-up comedian, bringing laughter and fun to the patrons and other comedians at the ICU Bar and Grill in Neenah.

Don is survived by his loving wife, Judy Shaw; his children: Jeffrey Shaw, Chris (Jane) Shaw, Timothy Shaw, California and Lisa Elliott, California; Judy’s children: Tim (Robin) Turkow, Tod (Karen) Turkow, and Kelly (Terry) Evers; grandchildren: Layla (Jessie) Smet, Alyssa Shaw, Brittany Shaw (Trenton Schertz), Drew (Shane) McCreary, Ryan (Hayley) Turkow, Alex Turkow (fiancé Maddi), Megan Turkow, Collin Evers, and Abby Evers (fiancé Trey); great grandchildren: Natalie, Liam, Briella, Jaxon, Leo and Willow. Don is further survived by his brothers: Raymond (Berrina) Shaw, California and Michael (Dianna) Mann, Fond du Lac.

In addition to his parents and other siblings, Don was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Kathleen.
