Donald Martin Frederickson

Donald M. Frederickson, age 82, passed away peacefully on June 7, 2021. He was born on May 1, 1939, son of the late Robert and May Grace (Hansen) Frederickson.

Don graduated from Freedom High School, where he excelled in basketball. He went on to coach the Hollandtown Raiders for many years and shared his love of basketball with many others. Don’s work ethic was second to none, dating all the way back to his years of working on a dairy farm since age 9. He then worked third shift at Thilmany and ran his canned milk route for White Clover Dairy at the same time. For 44 years, Don dedicated much of his life to the success of White Clover Dairy. He was a season ticket holder for the Green Bay Packers and an avid NASCAR fan, especially of Richard Petty.

Don is survived by his children: Keith (Sandie) Frederickson, Jeffrey (Donna) Frederickson, Chris (Pete) Johnson and James (Chris) Frederickson; stepson Dave (Kelly) Genslak; grandchildren: Austen, Ian, Aaron, Andy, Evan, Luke (Andrea), Cindy (Matt), Andy, Katie (Jeremy), Ben, Bobbi Jo, Stephanie and Brittany; step grandchildren: Tyler, Ashley, Amanda (Bob), Lydia (Matt); numerous great grandchildren; siblings: Richard (Evie) Frederickson, Ken (Jan) Frederickson, Phyllis Janssen and Vernon (Carol) Frederickson; in-laws: Joan Frederickson, Don Spierings, Elaine (Larry) Geniesse, Donald (Vonnie) Barclay and Mary Ann Krueger (Hezzie Leffel); many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Don was preceded in death by his first wife, Rosalie Frederickson; second wife, Carol Frederickson; triplet daughters: Laurie, Linda and Louanne Frederickson; stepson, Donald Genslak; grandsons: Matt Johnson and Danny Genslak; siblings: Darvin (Joyce) Frederickson, Raymond (Margaret) Frederickson, Harold (Jen) Frederickson, Roger Frederickson and Janet Spierings; brother-in-law, James Janssen; sister-in-law, Jo Ann Frederickson; many other in-laws and friends.

Visitation will be at the Verkuilen-Van Deurzen Family Funeral Home KAUKAUNA LOCATION, 2401 Fieldcrest Drive, on Thursday, June 10, 2021, from 8:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. Don’s sister-in-law, Pastor Jan Frederickson will officiate.
