Diana L. Hansen

Diana Lynn Hansen, 83, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 22, 2024. She was born on May 9, 1940 to Thomas and Hazel (Yale) Hull.

Diana married John Hansen Jr. on January 17, 1966 in Reno, Nevada, and together they raised two children. Diana was a graduate of Marvel Beauty School and worked for many years as a cosmetologist and found much joy in helping others feel great about themselves. She had a passion for horses, singing, and wood working. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and embroidering.

Diana is survived by her children: Diana Lynn (Jim) Geoffrey and John Hansen III; grandchildren: Meredith and Elizabeth Geoffrey; brother, Claude Hull; brothers and sisters-in-law: Joseph (Kathleen) Hansen, Nels (Susan) Hansen, and Mary (Richard “Twig”) Harnack; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Diana was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband; siblings: Mary (Herman) Tenhagen, Alice (Tom Gipson)(Dennis Miller), John Hull, Thomas Hull, Bonnie (Joseph) Torcaso and Hazel (Robert) Chevopulos; brothers and sisters-in-law: Harvey (JoAnn) Hansen, Robert (Judith) Hansen, and William (Fern) Hansen.

A memorial service for Diana will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Verkuilen-Van Deurzen Family Funeral Home, 2401 Fieldcrest Drive, Kaukauna, with Pastor Lynn Martin officiating. Visitation will begin at the funeral home at 9:00 a.m. and will continue until the time of the service. Diana will be laid to rest in the Floral Lawn Cemetery memorial garden in South Beloit, Ill.
