Dennis J. De Valk (Pup)
Little Chute
Dennis J. De Valk, affectionately known as “Pup,” age 73, passed away after a short illness on Monday, December 15, 2025, at Frontida of Kimberly. He was born on January 2, 1952, to the late Jack and Barb (Vils) De Valk. On March 6, 1972, he married his high school sweetheart, Linda Sanderfoot, at St. John’s in Little Chute.
Pup’s greatest joy in life was his family, especially his grandchildren and great-granddaughter. He cherished time spent watching Packer games with his grandkids and was always prepared with the “Pup-funded” football pool when they arrived.
His porch was a gathering place for young and old alike. Whether helping with school reading minutes, reminiscing, or sharing stories, Pup welcomed conversation and enjoyed every moment spent with others.
The cottage held a special place in his heart, where everyone was always welcome and encouraged to stay as long as they wished. Evenings were often spent around the campfire listening to music, sharing stories, and enjoying his favorite whiskey sweets.
Dennis is survived by his wife, Linda; daughter and son-in-law, Tracie (Mark) Polomis; grandchildren, Dakota, Karly, Dalton, and Kenia; and great-granddaughter, Lucia Joy. He is further survived by Dawn and Pat Deschaine, Cindy De Valk, Debbie Cudahy, Doug and Cindy De Valk, Dale and Pam De Valk, Donna and Todd Hurst, Dane and Linda De Valk, and Darci and Rich Van Veghel.
He is also survived by his in-laws, Dale and Stephanie Sanderfoot, Deb and Dale Burghardt, and Tom and Diane Sanderfoot.
Dennis was preceded in death by his nephew, Eric De Valk; his brother, William (Mick) De Valk; his parents, Jack and Barb De Valk; and his in-laws, Richard (Sticker) and Ruby Sanderfoot.
Per his request, no formal services will be held. A celebration of life will take place at Kamps Bar in Combined Locks on Saturday, January 3, 2026, from noon to 4 p.m.
