Delores J. Lange, age 75, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 6, 2024. She was born on February 7, 1949, daughter of the late Donald and Virginia (Joosten) Haese.
Delores was a graduate of Wrightstown High School class of 1967. On June 5, 1971, she married the love of her life, Gerald “Jerry” Lange and together they raised two children. Delores worked at St. Nicholas School and taught first grade for over 25 years. Delores absolutely loved being a teacher and cherished each of her many students. Delores was also an avid camper, finding solace in nature and the great outdoors at Evergreen Campground and Farmer Gene’s. She also had a knack for decorating and loved to decorate her home for every holiday and season. Most importantly, Delores loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed attending stock car races every Friday and Sunday to watch her son, Chris, race. Her dedication to her children carried over into her role as a grandma as well; she spent countless hours creating special moments with her grandchildren and left a legacy of love and kindness.
Delores is survived by her husband, Gerald “Jerry” Lange; children: Chris (Tanya) Lange and Terry (special friend Paul) Lange; grandchildren: Brady (fiancé Lilly), Trevor (significant other Shaye), and Spencer Lange; sisters-in-law: Gertie (Paul) Merritt (children: Nick (Nicole) Haese and Jennie Haese), Susie (John) Hricik (child: Sara (David) Myers), Laura (special friend Bob) Lemere (children: Kelly and Kevin), and Barb Lange; and brother-in-law, Martin “Herb” Lange. She also is survived by her godchildren, Nick Haese and Jim O’Connor and two special great nieces Karlee and Finnlee and one great nephew Dawson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Greg Haese, mother and father-in-law: Martin and Anna Lange; and brother-in-law, Tom Lange.
