David W. Haefs

David William Haefs, age 73, passed away on May 10th, 2025 in Green Bay, Wisconsin after a long battle of Parkinson's and dementia. David was born on January 23, 1952 to William and Dorothy Haefs, growing up in Cicero.  

David was a devoted husband to his wife, Connie.  They celebrated 50 years together, married October 5, 1974. 

Family was the root of his life.  David created so many memories for others to cherish.  David was also committed with time and effort to his work responsibilities. David worked for the US Army Corps of Engineers and served in the US Army Reserves, 84th Division.

David is survived by his wife, Connie, his children Marsha, Greg (Jackie), and Jodi (Troy).  David is further survived by his grandchildren, Madison and Brecken, Sam and Annika.  David is survived by his siblings, Judy (Al), Tim (Tammy), Tom (Marcia).

David was preceded in death by his parents, William and Dorothy Haefs, and older sister Gloria.  

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Atonement Lutheran Church, 2132 Deckner Ave., Green Bay, WI, with full military honors to follow.
