Dalores Moser Obituary

Dalores Moser, 96, peacefully passed away with her family by her side, March 22, 2021 at Country Villa Assisted Living in Freedom. She was born on May 18, 1924 the daughter of the late Jack and Marie (Van Gompel) Johnson. On June 27, 1946 she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Lloyd Moser. She was a lifetime member of St. Nicholas Church in Freedom and a member of the Christian Mothers Society. Dalores worked at Pranges and Younkers part time for many years. She was a lifetime member of the Freedom VFW Auxiliary #7692 and an avid Packer fan. She did volunteer work at St. Nicholas and Colony Oaks Nursing Home. Dalores cherished time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her family had many happy holidays at her home. She was a dedicated wife and mother with a with a strong catholic faith.

Dalores is survived by her children; Mike (Betty) Moser, Freedom, Jean (Vic) DeBruin, Combined Locks, Jeff (Donna) Moser Sheboygan Falls, grandchildren; Keith (Julie) Moser, Lorrie (Jason) Vandenberg, Doug (Gina) Moser, Kim (Ron) Butkus, MJ (Kari) Moser, Chris Nechodom, Brian Nechodom, Amy Jansen, Lynn (Terry) Bortz, Rick (Holly) Moser and John (Melissa) Moser, step grandchildren; Tammy (Dan) Weigand, Bill (Cindy) Duncan, Shannon Pommeroy, and Laura (Chris) Van Veghel, 25 great grandchildren, sisters-in-law, Jen Vosters and Rosie Moser. Dalores was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd, her parents, brothers-in-law; Bill Moser, Ralph Moser, Don Vandehey, Mervin Weyenberg, Paul Plamann, and Ernie Vosters, sisters-in-law; Myrtle Vandehey, Lucille Moser and Mary Plamann, and her grandson-in-law; Todd Jansen.

Due to the current health pandemic the funeral liturgy will be livestreamed at the St. Nicholas webpage starting at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 27, 2021. A special thank you to Country Villa #1, Freedom for all their care and compassion. One of her last words were “they are so good to me”. The family would also like to thank Heartland Hospice.
