Dale G. Arnoldussen,76, of Kaukauna, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, died unexpectedly peacefully at his home on Wednesday, January 27, 2021. Dale was born September 14, 1944 to the late Edward and Lucy Arnoldussen.
He married Mary Shuckart on July 27, 1963. They resided in Kaukauna, where they raised their family of five. While raising their family, Dale worked for over 40 years at Larry’s Piggly Wiggly as produce manager.
In his younger years he enjoyed dancing, bowling, playing cards, playing and coaching softball/baseball.
Dale loved being outdoors. He enjoyed weekends at the cabin with the family and he sure loved a good campfire! He also loved watching his sports on t.v., or you could find him sitting outside watching the people go by and saying hello while listening to his 50/60s music or a brewer game.
Dale enjoyed his time with his fishing buddies, Erv, Dennis, Butch, Keith, John, Ralph, Alan, Bob and his longtime dearest friend, Larry Feldkamp. Oh the fishing stories that were told!
Most of his happiness came from family as nothing was more important. He had an unprecedent love for family and he devoted his time making sure everyone knew their importance and the love he had for them.
Dale was also dedicated to St. Mary’s Church (St. Katherine-Drexel) in many ways. Dale and Mary donated their time running St. Mary’s Church Bingo for almost 30 years. He also enjoyed ushering, communion distributing, maintaining and cleaning the church.
Dale is survived by his loving wife, Mary, of 57 years, his five children, Allen (Chris) Arnoldussen, Brian (Julie) Arnoldussen, Cheryl Gloudemans, Dawn (Cameron) Giese, and Erica (fiancé Brian Miller) Arnoldussen and his eleven grandchildren, Chasidy (Tom) Vosters, Christy (Erik) Weiss, Emily (Carson) Dollins, Alysa Chandler, Amber (Ben) Puls, Matthew Arnoldussen, Amanda (Aaron) Gloudemans, Stephan “Buddy” Giese, Elizabeth Giese, Ashlee (Travis) Lauer, Haylee Hennes, and seven great grandchildren, Luke, Blair, Ben, John, Anthony, Grayson and Brianna. He is also survived by his four siblings, Joe Arnoldussen, Phyllis Van Deraa, Erv Arnoldussen and Sister Mary Arnoldussen; and four sisters-in-law, Patricia Arnoldussen, Juanita DeBruin, Agnes Hietpas, and Peggi Hoehne. Dale was preceded in death by his parents, many brothers, sisters, and in-laws.
