Craig J. Garvey

Craig J. Garvey, age 54, passed away unexpectedly at his home on June 3, 2022, after a battle with Diabetes since the age of 13. He was born on January 23, 1968, son of Bill and Pauline (Van Den Bosch) Garvey.

Craig graduated from Freedom High School and was a talented free-hand sign painter as well as a commercial painter for many years. He enjoyed woodworking and vinyl lettering. Craig always stayed busy working on projects and attending to his flowers and bird feeders. He was always willing to help anyone who needed it.

Craig is survived by his parents, Bill and Pauline Garvey, Freedom; brothers: Paul (Karen) Garvey, Freedom, and Eric (Vicki) Garvey, Grafton; nieces and nephews: Maddy and Liam Garvey, Abby and Colin Garvey; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 9, 2022, at the Verkuilen-Van Deurzen Family Funeral Home FREEDOM LOCATION, N3972 Columbia Ave. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
