Constance "Connie" (Vosters) Bauer Obituary
Constance “Connie” Bauer, 78, passed away on June 25, 2026, leaving behind a family who adored her and a legacy of love that will never be forgotten.
Connie was born on September 5, 1947, in Appleton to Donald and Dorothy (Baeten) Vosters. She was a proud graduate of Appleton West High School, where she met the love of her life, Thomas “Tom” Bauer. On September 17, 1966, they were united in marriage at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Appleton and shared nearly 58 years of marriage filled with love, laughter, and family until Tom’s passing in December 2024. Now reunited, their love story continues.
Connie spent many years as a successful real estate agent, helping countless families find a place to call home. She loved getting lost in a good magazine, watching movies, and could never resist the thrill of finding the perfect bargain at TJ Maxx. She was a devoted coffee lover who rarely began or ended her day without a cup—or three. If you knew Connie, you could picture her exactly as she loved to be: cruising in her convertible with the top down, a baseball cap on, oversized sunglasses, always headed out on her next shopping trip.
Being “Nana” was Connie’s greatest joy. She cherished every minute spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Whether it was celebrating birthdays, gathering for holidays, spoiling the grandkids, or simply enjoying time together, her family was always at the center of her heart.
To know Connie was to love her. She had a warm heart and a way of making everyone around her feel special. Connie had a way of finding joy in life’s simple pleasures.
She is lovingly survived by her sons, Brad Bauer and Brett Bauer; her grandchildren, Blake Bauer, McKenzie (Tyler) Jacobson, Noah (Katie) Bartel, Brooklynn Bauer, Macey Bauer, and Luke Vanden Heuvel; her great-grandchildren, Hudson Bauer, Waylon Bauer, Jemma Jacobson, and Bowen Jacobson; her brother, Craig (Katie) Vosters; sisters-in-law, Mary (David) Zunker, Pam Haack, and Beth (Mike) McAuley-Schlemme; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Tom, and her parents, Donald and Dorothy Vosters.
In keeping with Connie’s wishes, she will be laid to rest beside Tom on Friday, July 10, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Nepomucene Cemetery in Little Chute.
Her greatest title was “Nana,” and her greatest gift was making each person she loved feel special. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
“I love you all the way up to the angels in the sky.”
