Clay A. Johnson, passed away unexpectedly on the evening of August 27th, 2024 at the age of 64. Known for being an avid golfer, he finished one more practice round before hitting the links in the next life.
Clay was a driven man who was known for always finishing what he set out to do. In high school, Clay’s baseball team won the state championship (’79) for SPASH, and was later inducted into the high school’s hall of fame. Clay graduated from UW Oshkosh with a Bachelor of Science and worked as a pharmaceutical sales representative. On September 20, 2008 he married his love, Debra Liske.
He lived by the philosophy of work to live, not live to work. His passions included hunting, fishing, and sports, especially playing a round of golf or watching the Packers. However, first and foremost, he treasured time spent with his family. Clay was a passionate, generous man who was quick to lend a hand, pick up a tab or give sage advice.
Clay is survived by his wife, Debra Johnson, three children; Thomas, Taylor, and Addison Johnson, his mom, Lois Wolff, siblings; Michael (Laurie) Johnson and Amy (Brian) Oakes, nieces, other relatives and many friends. Clay was preceded in death by his father, Lowell Johnson and his grandparents.
