Christopher D. Hudziak

Christopher Daniel Hudziak, age 47, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 9, 2022. He was born on June 21, 1974.

Chris grew up in Weyauwega and graduated from Weyauwega Fremont High School class of 1992. He was employed as an insurance agent at Hoskings State Farm. He was also employed for numerous years as a beer salesman at General Beverage where he was known as “the beer man.” Chris loved going to any sporting event, but he especially loved coaching and attending his sons’ events. He was an avid Packers and Brewers fan. In his spare time, Chris enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Chris is survived by his parents: Daniel Hudziak, his step mother, Ginny, and his mother Colleen McCoy; his two sons: Cameron and Cory Hudziak and their mother and step father: Colleen and Marvin Ebben. Chris is further survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Harry and Evelyn Hudziak; his step grandfather Melvin Wilke; his step grandparents Peter and Gloria Wied; his maternal grandparents: Francis “Sonny” and Theresa “Tootie” McCoy; his aunt and uncle: Jerry and Peggy Hudziak; his aunt, Pam Abhold; his step aunt, Dixie Peterson; step uncle, Rick Wied; and his special cousin, Pam Stearns.

A funeral service for Chris will be held at 11 am on Friday, June 17, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church (411 Vandenbroek St., Little Chute). Visitation will be from 4 pm to 7 pm on Thursday, June 16, at Verkuilen Van Deurzen Family Funeral Home (101 Canal St., Little Chute) with a prayer service at 7 pm. Visitation will continue Friday at church beginning at 10 am until the time of service.
