Cheryl Brouillard Obituary

Age 73, passed away unexpectedly Monday, May 15, 2023.  Cheryl was born April 29, 1950 in Red Wing, MN to her loving parents, Lawrence J. and Marguerite C. Quinn (LePage).  Cheryl got her love of travel likely from growing up as an "army brat."  She graduated from Menasha High School in 1968.  Cheryl worked as an LPN and later as an AODA Counselor.  Cheryl made life-long friends in both High School and the various jobs that she worked at.  We thank all of these friends for all the love and support they gave Cheryl over the years.  You all meant the world to her.  Cheryl chose careers that would allow her help others and that was a passion of hers.  She wanted to make sure that everyone was treated fairly and with dignity and that was exactly how she treated others.

Cheryl married Jim Brouillard on February 6, 1982 in an intimate ceremony at her mother's home.  They were married for 21 years before the untimely passing of Jim on October 1, 2003. Cheryl gained an instant family and was always there for us throughout the years.  She will never understand how much she meant to us all. Our only comfort is that she will be reunited with our Dad, Jim again.   Cheryl will be greatly missed by her step-children:  James and Denise Brouillard, Kim and Joe Behling, Victoria and Gary Heikkinen and Danyel and Matt Missall.  Her Grandkids:  Amber (Adam), Nakia (Bryan), Rodney Jr., Korissa (Trenton), Brittnie (Ryan), McKenzie (Mitch), Nathan (Katelyn), Owen (Loren), Marissa (Cory), Jimmy Jr., Jacob, Conner, Gavin and Dylan.  Her Great-Grandkids:  Yuna, Aizen, Tristan, Tayveanna, Tyrese, Iyvee, Mylah, Nixxon, Vivian, Sophia, Hazel, James, Brooklyn, Audee and Harlee.  She has one more great-grandson due around Labor Day.  She loved hearing about all of her Grandkids and Great-Grandkids accomplishments and she tried to be at every event she could to show her love and support.  Not an easy feat when you consider the size of her family.

Cheryl's favorite pastimes included shopping, hanging out with her friends, spending time with family, enjoying delicious food and traveling (she loved the ocean) and she could always be found in a quiet corner reading a book.  Cheryl's love of animals was evident to anyone who knew her.  She considered her pets as part of her family.  We are so happy she will be reunited with Babbette, Gus, Missy and Indie now.

Cheryl's family would like to thank Matthew's Senior Living staff for their wonderful care of Cheryl these last few months.

We hope you can join us at a Celebration of Life Visitation and Memorial for Cheryl on May 25, 2023 from 4-7pm.  Burial will follow in White Lake at St. James Catholic Cemetery at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, a condolence box will be available at Verkuilen Funeral Home the night of her memorial.

It's crazy how someone who used to be a huge part of your life, can be gone in a second...Love you Always, Cheryl
