Bonnie Schaffer

Bonnie Schaffer, age 81, died Tuesday, September 21, 2021.  She was born on April 8, 1940, in Appleton, WI. She greatly enjoyed family, sports, and many ministries in the church and community.

Bonnie is survived by her children: Dawn Schaffer, Paula (Michael) Vandehey, Sara (Dan) Biese, Laurie (Kent) Henning, Karen Schaffer, Kevin (Pam) Schaffer, and Jaclyn (Nathan) Gillis. Grandchildren: Danielle Biese, Stephanie Biese Patton (Jesse), Madison and Drew Vandehey, Brady Schaffer, Megan Henning, and Alex, Isabella, Emerson, Olivia, and Amelia Gillis. Great-grandchild: Eleanor Patton. Bonnie was preceded in death by two sons, Steven and Alex Schaffer. She is further survived by many relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 24, 2021, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 309 Desnoyer Street, Kaukauna. Visitation will be at church on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Appleton. For online condolences, please visit www.verkuilenfh.com.
