Arlouine B. Van Zeeland

Arlouine Beverly Van Zeeland, age 84, was welcomed into her heavenly home on August 14, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 25, 1939, daughter of the late Allen and Eleanor (Sieverson) Curtis. Arlouine married Paul Van Zeeland on August 20, 1958, and together shared almost 65 years of marriage.

Arlouine was a wonderful, faith filled woman and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She raised her 4 children in a house full of love and welcomed 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren lovingly into her family. Arlouine loved Jesus and had a deep faith. She was a Girl Scout leader for several years and a member of the Little Chute Jaycees. Arlouine and Paul loved traveling around the world, most notably their 50th wedding anniversary trip to Mexico with their entire family. Many years of great family memories were made at the family cottage on Kelly Lake.

Arlouine is survived by her husband, Paul Van Zeeland; children: Sue (Brad) Behnke, Michael (Jan) Van Zeeland, Barb (Jeff) Hackel and Chris (Dani) Van Zeeland; 13 grandchildren: Bridget (Dustin) Utschig, Brittany (Tim) Korth, Brianna (Ian) Oberschlake, Travis (McKenna) Behnke, Ross (Courtney) Van Zeeland, Shay (Mike) Olig, Paige Van Zeeland, Amber Van Zeeland, Rebecca (Joe) Cardenas, Carissa (special friend, Andy) Hackel, Zane Van Zeeland, Zoey Van Zeeland and Zak Van Zeeland; 14 great grandchildren and one more on the way; brothers and sisters-in-law: Sue Van Zeeland, Carole Van Zeeland, Greg (Pat) Van Zeeland, Betty Jo (Gary) Hooyman and Robert Grulke; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Arlouine was preceded in death by her parents; siblings: Dallas (Dolores) Curtis, Diane Grulke, Eloise Ness and Carson Curtis; in-laws: Chuck Van Zeeland and Gary Van Zeeland.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, August 19, 2023, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, 411 Vandenbroek Street, Little Chute, with Fr. Ron Belitz officiating.
