Allen W. Menting

Allen W. Menting, age 67, passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2025. He was born on June 14, 1958, son of the late Vincent and June (Thompson) Menting.

Growing up in Appleton, Allen later served his country as a member of the Army National Guard shortly after high school. He was employed at Kaukauna Cheese for over 40 years. On June 14, 2007, he was united in marriage to Debbie (VandeBurgt) Beach and together they shared 18 wonderful years together. Allen loved being in the great outdoors, whether it was sitting around a campfire with family or simply taking walks outside, he found solace being in nature. He was an avid NASCAR and Green Bay Packers fan. Family was most important to Allen. He attended many family reunions over the years in Antigo and cherished every moment he got to spend with them creating lasting memories.

Allen is survived by his loving wife, Debbie Menting; children: Tara Menting, Jennifer Menting, Anne Carey, Glen (Judy) Beach; 10 grandchildren; siblings: Harlin (Darlen) Menting, Barb (Dick) Bergner, Shirley Schultz, and Ron Menting; brothers and sisters-in-law: Lynn Menting, Richard (Pam) VandeBurgt, Gail (Charlie) Bowman, Gina (Dennis) Mader, and Patti VandeBurgt. Allen is further survived by many extended family members and friends including his beloved dog, Dexter.

In addition to his parents: Vincent and June Menting, he was preceded in death by his brother, Bernie Menting and his in-laws: Patricia and Adrian VandeBurgt.

A Funeral Service for Allen will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. at Verkuilen-Van Deurzen Family Funeral Home, 2401 Fieldcrest Dr., Kaukauna.
