Winifred "Wynne" Vanden Heuvel

Wynne Mae Vanden Heuvel, age 95, of Little Chute, passed away peacefully in her sleep on August 13, 2019. She was born on January 8, 1924, daughter of the late Frederick and Cora (Holler) Hofman.

After her children were born, Wynne went back to college at the Outagamie County Teachers College, and earned her teaching degree in 1963. She taught elementary education for many years in the area. She loved music and was a member of the Fox Valley Chorus of Sweet Adelines. Wynne enjoyed traveling but her favorite thing to do was to spend time with her family. She especially treasured her grandchildren.

Wynne is survived by her daughters: Vicki (Larry Sobolik) Krause and Deb (Clif) Peeters; grandchildren: Jenny (Pete) Kalmon, Chris (Stehli) Krause, Sarah (Mark) Beahm, Lucas (Sarah) Peeters, Liz (Ben) Rosin, and Cassie (Andy) Mathis; great grandchildren: Braeden, Kyra, Ben, Addison, Preston, Paige, Brooke, Mason, Owen, Megan, Evan, Carter, Jake, Warner, Max and Croix; and a son-in-law, Peter Olk and his children.

Wynne was preceded in death by her daughter, Joy Olk; parents, Frederick and Cora; her former husband, James Vanden Heuvel; two sisters and two brothers.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 20, 2019, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, 323 S. Pine Street, Little Chute, with Fr. Ron Belitz officiating.
