Susan A. La Borde

Susan A. La Borde, age 68, of Kaukauna, passed away surrounded by her family on Tuesday, April 24, 2018. She was born on April 10, 1950, daughter of the late John and Helen (Anderson) La Borde.

Susan spent over 30 years working at Fox Valley Tool and Die as the only woman out in the shop. She enjoyed sitting in her yard, soaking up the sun on her deck. Susan loved nature, fishing and had a special place in her heart for all animals. She was a very positive person, always seeing the good in people and in situations. She loved watching the Packers, but most importantly, spending time with her grandchildren.

Susan is survived by her son, Dan (Debbie) Van Dinter; grandchildren: Cody, Briar, Ashley and Brooke; siblings: Gene (Nancy) La Borde, Bob (Colleen) La Borde and Judy (John) Lambie; sister-in-law, Karen La Borde; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents, John and Helen; a daughter, Nikki Van Dinter; granddaughter, Kalsi; great grandson, Brantley; and brothers: Jon and Jim La Borde.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 29, 2018, at the Verkuilen-Van Deurzen Family Funeral Home, 101 Canal Street, Little Chute. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Sunday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.

Susan’s family would like to extend a special thank you to her many good friends, especially Susie Vande Hey for all the years of friendship and always being by Susan’s side. Also thanks to the staff of Brewster Village for the loving care given to Susan.
