SethThomas Tritt

SethThomas Tritt age 38 from Appleton, WI, passed away unexpectedly on Feb. 27, 2019.  

He is survived by his parents, Ray and Allyson Tritt, Appleton, WI, his sister Rayleen J.Tritt and her partner Timothy Rucinski, along with nephew Jace Rucinski, New England. His daughters Jasmine Lee, and Aliyah Tritt, along with a plethora of loving and close knit cousins, Aunts, Uncles, and friends (including many from his childhood).

He was preceded in death by his sister, Rebecca, who passed away at birth; his maternal grandparents, Delores Olanick (known as MomMom), Nicholas Olanick (known as PopPop), and his paternal grandparents CoraLee Cole and Sherden C. Tritt, Sr., and his maternal and  paternal great grandparents.  In all of our sadness, it is with the greatest of joy that we know Seth has reunited with all of them.  

Seth graduated from Winneconne High School in 1999.  He attended classes for culinary arts at Fox Valley Technical College.  Seth’s greatest pride in life were his skills as a chef, preparing a wide variety  of national and international cuisines.  He was also a server at times, which he excelled  at due to his  outgoing personality and infectious smile.  

Most of all, Seth was an avid lover of all things nature and the outdoors. He loved to do gardening and created  beautiful gardens with new and different types of flowers and plants each year. Seth was also known for his love of  music,  especially David Bowie, Bob Marley and jazz. Seth  loved animals, and always had a feline companion or two since he was young. He had two kitties ( Frankie and Jellybean) that were always happy to see him come home. He was also famously known for his love of Halloween and classic Halloween films. He also loved art, photography and writing.

Seth was incredibly kind and was concerned for others’ well being.  He always gave so much to others, often doing without for himself. He will be missed beyond belief and his beautiful soul will be remembered always.     

Seth indicated that a Celebration of Life, full of smiles, fond memories and laughter would be preferred.  In honoring his wishes, a Celebration of Life will be held in the Evergreen Room, at the Red Lion Hotel Paper Valley, (formerly Radisson) downtown, College Ave. in Appleton, WI from 6:00 to 9:00 PM on Tuesday evening, March 5th, 2019.

Seth’s parents would like to personally thank Derek from Verkuilen-Van Deurzen Funeral Home in Little Chute, WI, for his kindness and professional assistance through this difficult time.  They would also like to thank Rachel and Chelsea with the Red Lion Hotel for their  kindness and assistance with arranging the Celebration of Seth’s life.  In addition, they want to thank the Crisis Group volunteers of Appleton.  Their professional and compassionate care are desperately needed and appreciated. 

Seth’s family wishes for privacy and sensitivity at this time. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in his memory to his favorite nature reserve: Thousand Islands in Kaukauna, WI.
