Sandra L. “Sandy” Willer, age 77, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at her home in Neenah on Tuesday, April 4, 2017. She was born on September 9, 1939, in Milwaukee, daughter of the late Francis and Lillian Sattler. On February 21, 1958, she married her high school sweetheart, Robert Willer, and together they have shared 58 years of marriage.
Sandy worked as a dental assistant, an in-home caregiver, a bottle tester at American Can and a tissue tester at Georgia Pacific. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren; as well as gardening, lunch with friends, playing bridge and traveling. Her kind and gentle soul will be missed by all those who knew her.
Sandy is survived by her loving husband, Bob; daughters: Bev Willer and Barbara (Mike) Anderson; grandchildren: Elizabeth Wittrock, Amy (Jacques LeTendre) Wittrock, Charlene (Kevin) Kelly, Maxwell Anderson, Samuel Anderson, Sophie Willer and Tyler Willer, as well as five great grandchildren.
Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, Frances and Lillian Sattler and a sister, Sherry Duwe.
Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 8, 2017, at Faith Lutheran Church, 601 E. Glendale Ave., Appleton. Visitation will be at the church on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established in Sandy’s name.
