Randy attended Kimberly High School, and went on to UW-Oshkosh and several other schools through his life. Randy lived most of his life in Kaukauna.

The band’s first album, “I’m Gonna Play Uke,” debuted in 2019. Randy wrote several original songs for the well-received album.
