Juris Grinbergs Obituary

Juris George Grinbergs, age 70, of Freedom, WI passed away on Monday, July 9, 2018. Juris is survived by his devoted wife of 34 years, Pamela H. Grinbergs and two loving children, Jonathan Grinbergs and Kay Grinbergs. Juris was preceded in death by his father, Fricis Grinbergs and his mother, Velta Brown.
Juris was a Vietnam veteran and served 3 years in the US Army. He was awarded a National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, and an Army Commendation Medal. Juris loved going to car shows and tractor pulls with his son, reading the Sunday paper with his daughter, visiting new places with his wife, and organizing his coin collection.
A memorial service will be held at Verkuilen Van Deurzen Family Funeral Home, N3972 N Columbia Ave, Freedom, WI 54130. Family and friends are invited to join us Tuesday, July 17 at 4 PM to celebrate Juris' life with service and military honors at 6 PM.
