James "Jim" Mulry Obituary

Jim A. “Basil” Mulry, age 80, of Little Chute, went unto his heavenly home on April 11, 2019. He was the son of Basil and Vera Mulry, born on March 14, 1939. Jim married Karen Reynebeau on October 27, 1960, and together they celebrated 58 years of marriage.

Jim worked at Thilmany for 39 years, retiring in 2001. Retirement was great, he enjoyed several trips to Branson and Siesta Key, Florida. He followed the kids in their sports, and totally loved attending many games played by the grandchildren: softball, football, volleyball, basketball, hockey, he enjoyed them all, especially because someone special was playing. Jim loved downhill skiing and got the kids all started by the age of 10. He loved to golf in the Thilmany league, the mens league at Countryside and later it became the senior league, all of which he truly enjoyed. Another love was fishing on Lake Winnebago, he had many hot spots.

Jim was a man of few words, because of dementia, which robbed him of speech, leaving him to say only “See Father Ron” since 2016. After Mass, whenever Father Ron was greeting, Jim had to shake his hand, then he was happy.
