Edward L. Prouse

Edward Lewis Prouse (Ed), 66, passed away at home on Thursday, Sept 28, from progression of chronic illnesses.

Ed is survived by his children and their families: Son John Prouse (daughter-in-law Nicole and grandson Oliver), Daughter Laura George (son-in-law Nicholas and grandson Sebastian), Son Gary Prouse (granddaughter Alaxandria [family, 2 great grandchildren], grandson Gary Jr, granddaughter Melody), and Daughter Tina Opsahl (son-in-law Tony, granddaughter Teresa, grandson Eric Jr [family, 3 great grandchildren]). Ed is also survived by his siblings and their families: brothers Tim and Tom and sister Kathy.

Through the years, Ed enjoyed fishing with his children, spending time outdoors, and gaming with his friends and family. In more recent years, he became more introspective and took a strong interest in theosophy. He was also happy to meet and spend time with his youngest grandchildren, Oliver and Sebastian.

Ed was very proud of his children and was sad to leave them but, with his strong spiritual beliefs, he was at peace with passing. He was ready to pass on to the next stage and also to rejoin loved ones lost, including his beloved dog Izzy.
