Daniel J. Hofacker, age 50, of Mackville, passed away into the arms of the Lord on November 30, 2019 at his home with family by his side after a long and courageous battle with heart disease. He was deeply loved as a husband, father, brother, uncle and friend to so many. Dan was born on January 4, 1969 in Appleton, son of Paul and Mary Ellen (Stephani) Hofacker. He spent his life working on the family farm and helped many aunts and uncles on their farms. Dan graduated from Freedom High School in 1987. They were blessed with two beautiful daughters that he loved and adored. After his illness, he helped his brother at Hofacker’s Hillside Orchard in many capacities. He lived to make others happy and was always willing to help anyone. He loved the outdoors and John Deere machinery. Dan loved to goof around and just have fun and make people laugh. Dan had many stories and loved to share them with others.
